‘Deca – Dance’ is Corks only weekly Swing dance club in the Liquid Lounge Clancy’s Bar Princes St. It started in August 2008 and celebrated its 1st anniversary this year Aug 24th. Its an intimate venue with vintage movies on the screen and great Swing music from Dj Divine Miss P and Dj Just Jools. All are welcome and there is a licensed bar and food available.
Swing Socials are fun nights out that are free. There is Swing music playing and a beginner taster class. We have them every few months in different parts of the city. Please see upcoming gigs for the next ones.
‘Doubletime’ is Corks monthly Swing club that has been going for over 6 years with DJ Gary Baus. Now in the Pavilion – an old 1920s Theatre, this is a great place to get dressed up and be transported back in time- DJ Gary even looks the part! Club 11.00pm -2.00am €8.
Weekend workshops with local and guest teachers and swing socials are ongoing throughout the year.
