WHAT IS SWING JAZZ MUSIC?
If you're like us, you probably didn't grow up listening to Swing Jazz, but once you hear that driving swing rhythm and playful lyrics you're going to be hooked!
Louis Armstrong, Artie Shaw, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Ella Fitzgerald, are some of the great Swing Jazz musicians of the Era. Swing music comes from 1930's and 1940's America, and is also the feeling we get when we tap our feet, bop our head, or clap to the off-beat, that wonderful '2'.
